Opposition MP Rodney Charles is calling on the leaders of both the UNC and the PNM to step down and make way for younger people to lead their respective parties.<br/><br/>Charles, who had previously indicated he had no interest in being a candidate for the Naparima seat in the next general election, has publicly supported MP Rushton Paray’s call for the party’s internal election.<br/><br/>On Friday morning he hosted a news conference in Marabella, telling UNC supporters that a 2025 victory is not going to happen if the party continues on its current trajectory.<br/><br/><br/>Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh reports.
