To celebrate the National Portrait Gallery's Picture the Poet exhibition at Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens, this special event held on the 24th November 2015, brought together acclaimed performance poets: Lemn Sissay and Kate Fox and local musicians The Lake Poets. Plus performances by local young people who had written work inspired by the exhibition under the guidance of Rowan McCabe, Sky Hawkins and Asa J. Maddison.
