Description: FutureTradition is an effort by Du Yun that envisions the creation of an open connection and in-depth dialogue platform for world culture. Since 2017, Du Yun has led a team of performing artists, scholars, documentary filmmakers, visual artists, local regional folk opera troupes, and regional theatre artists to make new works integrating the studied styles. In addition to fostering new art, this vision also illuminates existing traditional repertoires from different cultures by setting the
