This project initially sprang from Casey Pugh’s “Star Wars Uncut” where he crowdsourced people from all around the world to recreate fifteen-second segments from A New Hope and reassembled them all into an amazing narrative assemblage.(He later did this for The Empire Strikes Back as well.)The students from four sections of Foundations I also looked at artists who use two-dimensional, stop-motion animation including William Kentridge, Matt Bollinger, Joey Fauerso, and others.The stud
