Description: The Women’s Mobile Museum (WMM) is collaboration between the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center (PPAC), the South African visual activist Zanele Muholi, and ten Philadelphia artists who identify as women and femmes. An ambitious, multifaceted project launched in January 2018 and concluding in March 2019, it was conceived at a time when women globally were re-examining the barriers they face to achieving political and economic legitimacy and to effecting social change towards equal rights.
