This is a 30 yo patient with subfertility and significant pelvic pain from endo as well as her uterus. She was lucky and I was able to shave off the ugly mass on the back of her uterus that turned out to be an adenomyoma, or a discreet mass of adenomyosis (endo in the muscle of the uterus).I shaved the outer muscularis of the bowel wall off the mass of endo, then closed it horizontally as it was a very small defect and it would have been difficult to close it lengthwise.
