Parda is a hindi short film about a young girl who had no freedom from oppression. As a ritual, the clitoris of five or six year old girls is cut off without anesthesia. The same thing happened with Amayara. It had a profound effect on her mind. Today, as a woman the shock is even greater; she keeps getting distracted and restless in the moments of intimacy, her frustration is not only physical but mental also.
